Hypernova Desktop Components

The API and usage reference for the Hypernova Windows Forms and WPF control libraries, on .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 6, 8 and 10. Every page here is generated directly from the shipping C# sources and their XML documentation comments, so it describes the code as it actually is rather than as a separate document that drifts.

Two libraries

Windows Forms — 37 controls

Tab strips, tree list views, colour pickers, date and time editors, docking panels, notification popups and a modern window chrome. Owner-drawn throughout, with full designer integration.

WPF — 24 controls

A ribbon, a backstage tab control, carousels and circular panels, virtualising layout panels, a pixel-shader effects library and a set of styled input controls.

Target frameworks

Every control ships for both the .NET Framework and modern .NET. The two source trees are kept deliberately close, so a control behaves the same on either.

`net6.0-windows`	The LTS floor that is still supported.
`net8.0-windows`	Current LTS.
`net10.0-windows`	Current release line.

.NET 7 and .NET 9 are not targeted. Both are out of support, and NuGet resolves a consumer on either of them to the nearest lower asset, so their absence changes nothing for those consumers.
