How the ribbon lays its commands out beneath the tabs.

public enum BinaryRibbonLayout

Remarks

The user switches between the two from the ribbon display options in the window caption or from the ribbon's context menu, and an application sets it through RibbonLayout.

Members at a glance

ClassicThe full ribbon: large, medium and small commands in three rows, with each group's title beneath it. This is the default.
SimplifiedA single line of commands, each a small picture with its caption beside it and no group titles, which gives most of the ribbon's height back to the document. As the window narrows the captions go first and then whole groups fold into drop-down buttons, in the same resizing order as the classic ribbon.
